Adobe Automatic updates

All,

I'm sure you're all aware that from Tuesday 13th April 2010 Adobe will be releasing Adobe Reader 9.3.2. See here:
http://blogs.adobe.com/adobereader/2010/04/upcoming_adobe_reader_and_acro.html

It states "On Tuesday, April 13, 2010, as part of our quarterly update, we will activate the new updater for all users
needing Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.3.2 and 8.2.2 for Windows and Macintosh. As of yesterday, April 7, 2010, we have
been activating our new updater for those users who are not yet up-to-date with our latest versions. The purpose of the
new updater is to keep end-users up-to-date in a much more streamlined and automated way."

What I can't find out is if this will be for security patches, major releases or both. Does anyone have more
information?

From the screenshots in the blog it looks like the default option is to automatically download and install these
updates but the blog isn't clear. Anyone have more info?

Whilst I welcome this ability to get updates for Adobe deployed quicker for the home user, there are processes that I
have to follow for deployment of security patches and major software releases in my corporate environment. If it is
automatic I'd be looking into disabling this feature and deploying updates in a more controllable manor as I am today.

Grateful for any help you can provide.

Regards,

k41zen
