I know HP units use FAT32 so all your standard tools should work. We have a few old units in the Quarantine Zone here in work, so I test it out. So should also check was data can be pulled off the units via the Telnet Shell that 99% of printers leave wide open. If you have partnership with printer manufacturers you should be able to get your hand of the Service/Tech manuals that will list commands that are not normally know about to.
