Staying motivated and keeping focus

First and foremost, I think it's safe to say, we're all in the same
boat. I find myself flying off on tangents regardless of my work...too
much to do, too little time. All we can do is take a deep breath, step
back, and regroup.

If you've looked into efficiency stuff, you may have heard of David
Allen and his "Getting Things Done" method. It doesn't matter if you
use it or agree with it or not, but I realize he is an expert on the
subject matter and I remember him saying something to the following:

"...when your looking at your list of 100 or more To Do items, ..."

I must admit I felt a little better knowing even the "experts" have To
Do lists that big.

Hi all,
I find myself sitting, listening to security podcasts (which
in and
of
itself is not bad) and playing desktop tower defense. I have tons of
ideas
for new videos and articles but can't get myself motivated to start on
them.
What do others do to stay motivated and keeping focused? I'm
looking into
nootropics, but am a bit skeptical.
