Windows CE security?

A company I know uses these Windows
CE<http://www.motorola.com/business/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=1f10e90e3ae95110VgnVCM1000008406b00aRCRD>scanners
because they are the only thing that will survive a beating in the
warehouse.  And they only recently replaced the old
scanners<http://www.liberty-sys.com/symbol_vrc6946.htm>that ran DOS.
And they use them to telnet into an AS/400 for inventory
management.

So yeah legacy systems never die.
