I like to use XChat on windows although the official XChat build only works
for 30 days w/o expiring... http://www.silverex.org/ makes a free unofficial
windows build available if you're already comfortable using xchat in linux.

i prefer Vim in windows mostly because that's what i already use in
linux...

 Hello,

I know this is a bit off of the security topic. Can anyone recommend a
good
free Windows based IRC client and a good free Windows based text editor
that
would be good for writing/editing Perl and Python scripts.

Thank you,

Jody
