Guys we really need to sort out some of these events.

I'm looking to get sponsorship from the company I work for, i would like to
setup a quarterly event in Sheffield.
I'm going to see if I can beg borrow and steal(just kidding) some equipment,
I'll look at scoping out a location(unless anyone knows where we could hold
it).
We just need some help on setting this thing up.
Any takers on getting this thing of the ground.

Not sure if they would sponsor a Sheffield event but I have a friend
in Leeds who is has mentioned they are up for supporting the
community.

As for a location, how about Access Space http://access-space.org/ ? I
know the guys down there so could introduce you if you want to try to
organise something.

Just me in the north then?

No, I'm in Sheffield. If you want to organize something round here
then I'm up for it.

Robin

I'll post a mail next time I'm down in London and see if we can meet up
too.

I was wondering whether there's any CTF stuff we could set up remotely,
need to give this some more thought and am a bit busy at the moment
with
SAN504/60.

Hi all,
I'm up for a London-based event. Anyone fancy an informal beer and
pizza/thai/sushi kind of affair some time soon?

Hi Guys,

Also here in the UK. Could not believe some one bought this up on this
mailing list I was thinking of doing the same thing but don't know
anyone
else who would want to get involved. I know of DC4420 which is London's
chapter of Def Con which I really need to pull a finger out and go to.

May be worth doing a PDC UK meetup?? Anyone interested? if so let me
know
and I don't mind trying to sort some of it out.

I would say do it in London as most Security Professionals would be
based
near there. Sorry guys from Leeds. Could do a meet up every six months
and
alternate North and South.

?See ya,

Duncan
