Any OpenVAS (The open source fork of Nessus) out there? Just curious
to know how well it's working, how well the project is keeping up with
vulnerability checks, etc. Any feedback would be great.

This isn't likely terribly useful, but I did try it out in February or
so, and wasn't terribly happy. Making it go on the boxes I had made
available to me (RHEL 5.1) was more than just ./configure && make
install. We can afford the $1200 or so if need be, so we're sticking
with Nessus for now, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on OpenVAS too.
