In which case, you can use an idea I heard of from Bob. Fire up Karma,
setup the web server to always deliver a page which auto-plays a loud
mp3 file then sit back and wait.

I heard a blood curdling scream works quite well but maybe not on a plane.

That's too much effort.  How about this (assuming you don't know the IP
address):

C:\>for /L %i IN (1,1,255) do @for /L %j IN (1,1,255) do @net send
169.254.%i.%j All your Wireless R Belong ...

Note: This does not work on Vista; no net send functionality.  The "msg"
utility can send dialogs, but only for systems within your domain.
