Suggestions for GSOC

Hello Nmap developers !
I'm planning to apply for gsoc this year , i've been a user of nmap for
quite a long time. I recently got really into socket programming. Ended up
tinkering with nmap a few months ago and i've been looking at how the code
works ever since. I also wrote a few NSE scripts to get started. I have a
few script ideas. Is this the right place to discuss them or should i move
this to the soc mailing list ?
