scanning issues??

here is the output...someone explain this one to me please
C:\>nmap -max-retries1 -v -oG -g179 -n -P0 -T4 -p179 208.107.0.1/6 | grep "Discovered open port"
and the outbound traffic generated (notice the port being scanned is NOT 179 like it should)

1024 <mss 1460>
( i notice all is well, however, if i omit the -oG option. why is that?)
what did i do wrong, if anything?
