Hello

Recently we have had some PICA VITA II   printers  which when do a nmap query on.

The ports
515 and
9100

Show as open on the first scan.

On subsequent scans the port comes up as "filtered"
These scans are done from the same subnet, so I can only suggest that by querying the port, on the printer, that this 
query has some how crashed the print server application running on the printer.
Turning the printer  off and back on, reset the printer so ports were open again.
This was done from various versions of nmap.
Last version used was 4.11 running on Redhat Linux

The printer is model
Pica Vita II  104/8
Software Version V1.55 Build 2006

The printer manufacturer is "Carl Valentin"
