I have my doubt that scripts works at all here, so I tried to turn
on tracing in scripts. E.g.
 nmap.exe -P0 --script=smb-server-stats.nse --script-trace -p T:139,445
dlink

Starting Nmap 5.61TEST2 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2011-11-08 14:50 GMT
Nmap scan report for dlink (10.0.0.4)
Host is up.
PORT STATE SERVICE
139/tcp filtered netbios-ssn
445/tcp filtered microsoft-ds

Where and when is the "NSE: " stuff supposed to be printed? And what's
the output supposed to be like?

I use nmap (MSVC) on Win-XP SP3 and WinPcap 4.1.0.2001.

Hi Snurre,

The script will only run if the ports are discovered as open.
In your example both ports are reported as filtered, ie. not accessible
from the system you're scanning from.
