That is certainly possible, particularly given your willingness to
help.  Can you send us ideas of the sort of functionality you have in
mind?  You're also welcome and encouraged to add potential script
ideas to https://secwiki.org/w/Nmap_Script_Ideas.  You probably know
that Nmap already has an ASN.1 library
(http://nmap.org/nsedoc/lib/asn1.html) used by the SNMP and LDAP
libraries, but I'm sure there is room to do more with it.
