Committed as r20383. I have a requirement that the hosts argument be a table since this keep things consistent and because of the fact that "hosts" is plural and a table is the way we express this. If you want support for single things like "hosts=www.google.com" (the way my script originally only worked) then I can add this. I guess it's just that one way makes more sense and the other is more convenient.
