Is there a way to have Nmap output to a filename that includes variables of date and time in the filename? -oA %yymmddhhmm%filename If not, I realize there might be some complexity in needing to know the OS and appropriate method for getting the time from the OS. I found this on how to do it using the Windows OS to output to a text file, but that is just one file type and doesn't help if I want xml. (Yup, I'm running on Windows). Whoops.. forgot to include the URL ... just minutes after looking for the URL to the Nmap survey... http://highsecurity.blogspot.com/2009/02/simple-tcp-udp-continous-monito ring.html Thanks, Norris Carden _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
