Nmap trouble shooter, 

I am pretty new to working with Nmap and I am trying to get it to run on my computer but I have run into a snag. 

Included is the error report that comes back to me when trying to run Nmap, any suggestions would be most helpful

QUITTING! 

my intiial that is that it might be a connection problem but I am also not sure what dnet: failed to open device eth8 
is?
