Did you run nmap/zenmap with elevated privileges (if UAC is enabled)? You need to start the application (or the command line prompt used to launch it) by right-clicking on it and using "Run as administrator". Hope it helps GV ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Detzel" <cdetzel () contingent com> To: "Aaron Leininger" <rilian4 () hotmail com> Cc: <nmap-dev () insecure org> Sent: Thursday, May 15, 2008 1:59 PM Subject: RE: nmap issue I am using the internal NIC, I have also tried to connect using a wireless connection as well. It might tell someone on the list something about your network configuration that could explain things. *what network card you are using. *what version of nmap/zenmap you compiled/installed. *anything else that you think might be relevant. -Aaron ________________________________
