Hey, How do I get nmap to work properly on OSX? I compiled it fine, but it spits this garbage: aphrodite:~ spiro$ sudo nmap -A -v 192.168.1.104 Password: Starting nmap 3.81 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2007-07-26 14:49 EDT sendto in send_ip_packet: sendto(6, packet, 28, 0, 192.168.1.104, 16) => Invalid argument Sleeping 15 seconds then retrying
I am not sure about that. Nmap 3.81 however is ancient. The latest stable release is 4.22. I recommend that you try the SOC release though, it includes many new features. I develop nmap on OSX and I haven't had any problems with the sources. cheers, Diman _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://SecLists.Org
