Darn, and here I already bought it a tie! :)

I was digging around looking for an app to work with nmap results to do
trending and such. I came across Localscan, which doesn't appear to
have been touched since 2000. I like the simplicity of the script, and
the fact that you can set your baseline and it'll report only on diffs
from that established baseline. Unfortunately, it needs some hacking,
since the output format from the nmap of 2000 appears to have changed,
and the ignore ip vs ignore hostname seems to have never worked.

So, I'm working this over to make it work properly. I don't know if
anyone has interest in such an old thing, but if so, let me know, and
I'll share when I'm done working it over.

-David

This leads to the question of what sort of present you should get for
a program that is already a movie star and also has few material needs
beyond a little hard drive space and RAM? What Nmap wants for its
birthday, more than anything else in the World, are useful patches and
OS fingerprint submissions!
