Hmm ... I had hoped the two lines above what you quoted would be catching it: *-solaris2.[1-9][0-9]*) AC_DEFINE(SOLARIS) So your Solaris 10 box still defines STUPID_SOLARIS_CHECKSUM_BUG in config.h?
