While taking the risk of pointing out a non-free but very functional solution, where you can run nmap under Windoze - I can only say : VMWare. For security audits, we have very successfully used VMWare under NT4 & Win2k to boot Linux and run nmap - and it works like a dream! To simultaneously run nmap under Linux & other NT applications on the same machine, in parallell, realy makes efficient time of auditing. Check vmware.com for more info.
