If they stop using it, the advertising dollars will stop rolling in.
You really ought to read you friendly neighborhood news paper. Just what do you think is causing the dot-com crash? The advertising dollars are running out, even with high visitation rates. Users are simply not clicking on banners as hoped. The free-ride is over folks.
