undefined method `[]' for nil:NilClass error message in ie_xml_corruption.rb

I got the "undefined method `[]' for nil:NilClass " error message when i tried to run ie_xml_corruption.rb module on my 
Windows XP SP3 box. Dou you have any comment or suggestion to resolve this message?
