Newbie Connection

No.there is no ips/firewall in between my host machine and the vmware
machine.But still I am receiving the same error.
That's y I need to know why metaploit 3.0 is not working?

Looks like you have some kind of protection in Windows 2000, may be IPS?
Other exploits work?
