The guard_sources_from_gc method should came from the libglade package. I've encountered the same problem on Gentoo following an update of ruby-gtk2 tow months ago (december 2006). I've performed a patch for this purpose on Gentoo, so users under this platform should not encountered this problem with dev-ruby/ruby-libglade2-0.16.0-r1 So try to update your ruby-gtk2 or ruby-libglade (following your distribution) and perform a new test. I wanted to see what the msfgui looks like, unfortunately I am having alittle problems.
