Windows error

Dear Peers,
I installed Metasploit v2.5 on my Windows XP SP2 machine and it was doing
fine till the command prompt popped up and displayed this error message at
the end of the installation process.
tar: framework.tar: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

I uninstalled this version and tried versions 2.4 and 2.3 as well with the
same error. I also tried on another machine running Windows XP SP1 but with
the same result. Is there anything I missed out? Please advise. Thanks.
