This might be caused by a DLL memory conflict under Cygwin, try running
the following command and let me know if it fixes it:

[ Open a Cygwin shell ]

$ rebase -d -b 0x41425949 \
\lib\perl5\5.8.2\cygwin-thread-multi-64int\auto\Cwd\Cwd.dll

hi!

after upgrading to v2.2 (from v2.0) i get the following error with
msfweb after i open my browser to connect to localhost:55555 (i also
get this error when i try to run /bin/* commands from msfconsole):

<start error>
C:\Metasploit Framework\bin\perl.exe (5784): *** couldn't release
memory 0xBF4000(1032192) for 'C:\Metasploit
Framework\lib\perl5\5.8.2\cygwin-thread-multi-64int\auto\Cwd\Cwd.dll'
alignment, Win32 error 487 3 [main] perl 5080 sync_with_child: child
5784(0x6A4) died before initialization with status code 0x1 94 [main]
perl 5080 sync_with_child: *** child state child loading dlls <end
error>

however, i can run perl scripts fine from cygwin shell.

my system is WinXP SP1, 1.3GHz Centrino, 768MB RAM. v2.0 ran without a
hitch prior to update.

TIA
