I won't argue with the first half of this statement. However, I'd be
very interested in seeing Mr. Bailey's scenario for killing 3,000
people in a "cyber-attack" anywhere but EverQuest or some similar
MMOG.

As to the belief that al-Qaeda is technologically sophisticated when
it comes to computers, this statement belongs in the same rubbish heap
as the CIA's so-called "intelligence" concerning WMD in Iraq.
Where's the proof? Where, in fact, is any shred of evidence
whatsoever to back up this claim? I come into almost daily contact
with "intelligence" that suggests otherwise.

It doesn't help us to make wild assertions of this nature. They only
draw attention away from the real threats and divert much needed
resources into marginally productive areas.

This seems to me to be FUD of the highest order.
