Thanks. *Cyber-privacy: States, Corporations and Citizens* F Georgetown University is happy to announce the inaugural event of the Inter-disciplinary Breakfast Series on Cyber-Risk, tilted *Cyber-privacy: states, corporations and citizens*. There are enormous benefits coming from Big Data analytics, but also massive potential costs, stemming from issues such as criminal activity, discrimination or state over-reach. This breakfast event will review some of these topics in an interactive format by bringing together Georgetown University faculty from four different schools. *When*: May 16, 2017. His research spans cyber threat intelligence sharing; technical means to implement cybersecurity and resilience; the security and stability of public networks; and Internet governance. Prior to Georgetown Dr. Burger was CTO of a number of public and private companies. He regularly teaches courses on corporate governance, risk management, and decision making processes. He is a founding member of Cercle-K2, a French think-tank on risk management and is a Research Fellow at the French Military Police Academy (CREOGN). He is also jointly appointed to the Department of Sociology at Georgetown University. Dr. Lemieux was previously professor and program director of the master’s degree in Homeland Security as well as the master’s degree in Cybersecurity Strategy and Information Management at the George Washington University. He has recently published a book titled “Current and Emerging Trends in Cyber Operations: Policy, Strategy and Practice” (Palgrave Macmillan). *Professor Clare Sullivan*Dr Clare Sullivan is cyber-law lawyer specializing in digital identity, privacy and cyber security. She is a Visiting Professor at the law Center, Georgetown University and a Fellow at the Center on National Security and the Law at Georgetown University. Prior to joining the academy, Professor Sullivan was in legal practice in Australia and internationally with Baker & McKenzie.
