Dave,

  Jefferson also said something to the effect that a Government big  
enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything  
you have and that the course of history shows that as government  
grows, liberty decreases.  Wise words for today when the USG is  
getting their $$ (and mitts) on everything.
