As Simpson's interview makes clear, she was surrounded by  
Massachusetts State police bearing machine guns. She did not come into  
contact with the TSA - she was meeting a friend by the baggage claim.  
She did not need to pass security.

The charge eventually brought against her was disorderly conduct,  
something for which the state does not have to prove intent (as she  
also says in the interview).
