There are also a number of companies that specialize this this niche,
Fiber Tower being perhaps the best known.

It should be pointed out that the same challenge faces both the wireless
Internet providers as well as the LTE (Long Term Evolution) based
telecom corporations.

I would further state that while there are challenges, wireless will
remain as a viable delivery medium, especially as the mobile video
market heats up. Look for this technology to take off after the Digital
TV conversion in February of next year.
