Dave, I edit some Web sites that cover IT issues. We depend on
freelancers for a lot of our content. A handful of regular
freelancers come from India, and we get story pitches from other
Indian writers all the time. There are very few writers we can rely
on for regular work for whom English is not their native tongue.
Indian writers, like, for instance, Eastern Europeans (we get a lot
from them too) tend to need more editing than US, UK, and Australian
writers. By the way, our one Chinese freelancer needed even more
editing. Mind you, we still accept pitches from around the world,
because sometimes what the writers have to say makes the extra effort
it takes to edit their words worthwhile.

In other words, I'm not worried about my job being offshored yet. I
suspect legal professionals shouldn't be either.
