And Stanford has been delivering lectures over their on campus cable system for longer than that. But, of course, this development is much more scalable. Viral, if you will.. I wonder how this development, along with initiatives such as MITs Open Course Ware, will affect the teaching of courses at a university. Might students who are taking a course at CMU, for example, listen in to a lecture at Stanford? Will there be meta-courses combining material from many universities?
