Current play on sick IBM PC

I am using GG's Imac that is at our east Penn home. A kind iPer lent me 
a spare IBM T40 BUT I had used  the security chip on the borrowed 
machine and then refused to accept any known password I ever have used. 
I assume there is an interaction between the chip/the bios/and the 
Windows boot.

Lesson. Get a MAC and remember pioneers get shot in the back (and I am 
on the Advisory Board of the TCG.
