In a rare example of bipartisan consensus, a coalition of several
groups representing US citizens abroad agreed that it was not
possible to do secure Internet voting via computers that ran
Microsoft Windows. The Washington Post reports that

would be subject to hacking. They urged a halt in the program for fear
that ballots collected online could undermine the integrity of the
election."
