I wonder how/whether the major US newspapers have covered the latest news about the WTO - here today's (UK) Guardian newspaper has a front page article headed "Bush blocks deal allowing cheap drugs for world's poor". See: http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,3604,898527,00.html However, I should mention that, in contrast, the (London) Times, which is about as far to the right on the UK political spectrum as the Guardian is to the left, does not seem to have carried anything on this story as yet. cheers Brian -- School of Computing Science, University of Newcastle, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 7RU, UK EMAIL = Brian.Randell () newcastle ac uk PHONE = +44 191 222 7923 FAX = +44 191 222 8232 URL = http://www.cs.ncl.ac.uk/~brian.randell/ ------ End of Forwarded Message ------------------------------------- You are subscribed as interesting-people () lists elistx com To unsubscribe or update your address, click http://v2.listbox.com/member/?listname=ip Archives at: http://www.interesting-people.org/archives/interesting-people/
