Dave,

The United States Telecom Association (USTA) has begun a glossy TV ad
campaign promoting the Web site http://www.thefuturefaster.com
(the "www" is necessary -- you won't get the site without it!)

The site itself appears to be a vehicle to promote telephone company
deregulation (to compete with cable, they say...)  They also argue that
government regulations are putting universal phone service at risk, etc.

I just thought folks would find it interesting...
