Subject: [IP] A personal protest -- on WQED TV Pittsburgh -- a PBS station

WQED is the station that for years brought the nation Mr Rogers. It is now
reduced to filling weekend evenings, often, with infomercials that hyp very
questionable stuff and offer , for inflated prices books and tapes on these
"offerings" One can , I guess, be thankful that they are not running frying
pan infomercials but even they might be better.

That is not why public television was created and why they were assigned
prime TV channels.

My attempts to talk with those folks has drawn complete silence. I have no
idea whether there is a route to formally protest but rest assured I will
attempt to protest when their license is up for renewal.

It makes me value WHYY Philly/Delaware and other quality PBS stations

Dave

deserve. Taped before an audience at the historic Fitzgerald Theater in St.
Paul, Minnesota, THE LAWS OF MONEY, THE LESSONS OF LIFE is based on Orman's
book of the same name.
