From: Dewayne Hendricks <dewayne () warpspeed com> FCC GRANTS MESHNETWORKS EXPERIMENTAL LICENSE FOR MOBILE BROADBAND APPLICATIONS The FCC has granted MeshNetworks, Inc. an experimental radio license in the 2.4 MHz and 5.7 MHz bands to test mobile broadband technology. MeshNetworks proposes to use Protocol (IP), 802.11 and peer-to-peer networking to offer broadband to mobile users, such as laptops, PDAs and handheld multimedia devices. The experimental license permits MeshNetworks to test market in Orlando, Florida, Washington, D.C., Dallas, Texas and Denver, Colorado.
