IP: before I sleep, how to waste expensive advertisements -- Voicestream in particular

After reading endless advertisements in the A section of the NYTimes for 
Voicestream's 99 cents international roaming service -- damn near the ONLY 
advantage they have, I thought I would try it on a forthcoming trip. So I 
called my local Voicestream company store and was told -- well we will 
consider it after you have subscribed to Voicestream for three months.

Guess what, I will wait till some carrier is sane enough to provide me 
service when I need it not when they want to give it to me.
