IP: a note from your editor

This gets repeated too often but it seems to be needed. I try to filter 
material that is sent on IP for whether it is factual or not. I am not a 
newspaper with the resources to investigate every item . Very very 
infrequently I mess up and own up to it ASAP.

I have evolved a chain of trust that I use to do some checks. Always 
question what you read -- whether it is from IP or the press or the 
TV/radio. All of these is subject to being faked or fooled.

I would rather present you with material that infrequently may be 
misleading than not present you with items I can not check.

Always please in any media, remember that it is always "let the reader 
beware".
