No one at the Infectious Diseases Society of America conference in San Francisco over the weekend could offer a theory on who is using a variety of a <http://www.siliconvalley.com/docs/hottopics/attack/biowep102901.htm>commonly-used strain of anthrax to terrorize the country through the U.S. mail. The bacteria's common identity makes it that much harder to use it as a tool for identifying the perpetrators, experts said.
