Dave, you might consider publishing the actual URL for the website in question
http://www.geocities.com/emersoneye/

This way, people outside the US could perhaps read what all the fuss is about.
Once they read (no easy task) they might think about posting anonymous comments using obvious pseudynms such as "johnny canuck", or "Liberté" as well. I think it would be interesting to see how this changed the landscape in this particular
case. Methinks having to discuss in front of a judge the nature of 'sufficient
contact' to meet long-arm statutes so they could get a subpoena for someone in
canada or france, that should give everyone pause to think just how ludicrous the
situation is. Just a thought...
