From: "frank millheim jr" <millheif () yahoo com> To: <dave () farber net> Perhaps things are a little out of focus. I once copped attitude with a federal agent at the Canadian border and thus had a very unpleasant experience. I could claim it was because I voted for Ross Perot, but that would be plain silly. You will note that the press release is deceptive. And I quote: >"An official told me that my name had been flagged in the computer," a >shaken Oden said. "I was targeted because the Green Party USA opposes the >bombing of innocent civilians in Afghanistan." Now, according to this quote, her name had been flagged by the computer. She then *assumes* the next line. She does not say that *anyone* told her that. She could have been flagged for any number of reasons, including random search. I would like to know whether she started a scene after being asked to be searched -- if she did, that would explain why she was not allowed to fly. That is pretty much the way things are going to be for a while at our airports, like it or not.
