The anti-spammers have no shame about using the exact service that
they claim should be illegal.

My site got three unsolicited emails, using forged return addresses,
from ORDB today too. They do not have permission to relay email
through my site. They are one of the blacklist organizations referred
to by the long rant you sent earlier, which exist to prevent people
who run open relays from sending or receiving email.

I've also enclosed below some other spam I got today. It's
advertising an anti-spam service. The 'service' offered by the site
is a proprietary program that replaces email links in web sites with
scrambled JavaScript programs that will send email to that address --
if the web client runs JavaScript, which would be foolhardy of them to
do. If the web client is secure, then the user simply can't send
email to the address intended by the web site author. And, of course,
if any method like this becomes popular, email-address harvesting
robots will quickly learn the trick, and extract the email addresses
anyway.
