Subject:ACLU: What To Do If You're Stopped By The Police, The FBI, The INS or Customs

From the American Civil Liberties Union:

Dear Activists,

The ACLU's new informational pamphlet -
Know Your Rights: What To Do If You're
Stopped By The Police, The FBI, The INS,
Or The Customs Service - is currently available.

As you have no doubt heard, Attorney General
Ashcroft's has plans for combating terrorism
which include using FBI and local law enforcement
to "interview" foreign students. We feel it is very
important to distribute Know Your Rights flyers on
college campuses and elsewhere to Middle Eastern people
and people who are perceived as Middle-Eastern so
that they have information on what their rights are
before being questioned.

If you can help disseminate this important information
about peoples' rights, please contact the ACLU and we
will get pamphlets to you.

English, Spanish, and Arabic versions are available immediately at:
