1. Nobody ever claimed that IPv6 changes the Internet routing paradigm
or makes it scale by magic. That's an orthogonal problem that is being
tackled orthogonally. I was in at least 4 sessions at the last IETF on
this topic, and missed others. What IPv6 does is provide enough space
and flexibility to actually solve the problem, which IPv4 doesn't.

2. There's clear analysis that shows that the 8 bytes of routing
prefix in an IPv6 address will not actually run out on generous
assumptions about the sustainable world population, the number
of subnets per person, and the efficiency of address space utilization.

3. People who say something doesn't work would be wise to produce at
least an existence proof of an alternative that does work.
