I have recently gotten a Mac PB G#. Big but not at all bad in weight and it is nice to watch a DVD on the train (educational). I decided to buy a HP Laserjet 2199 TN for my house network. Nice printer. So I got the CDROM out and started the install. First for reasons I cannot figure out on the G3 mac the install came up in some eastern European language, After repeated trying I had to do to HP web site and hunt up the US version. Latter after installing it , I started to install on GGs IMac and went to the HP web site to get the drivers. It spun me off to a spanish page when I asked for US software drivers. I tried the CDROM and it now worked on the IMac. Then the PC,. The easy install on the PC would drive most people to pencil and paper. It was weird and required knowledge of non documented terms. By the 40 some odd years (and they were odd) of experience I managed to get it to work. How I have no idea!! How does a normal person ever use these beasts they get harder and harder to configure and harder and harder to keep working. Time to simplify Dave
