From: Craig Partridge I want to remind everyone that nominations for the ACM SIGCOMM Award are due by March 31st. The award is given annually for long term contributions to the field of data networking. (I.e., the awardees are people who have demonstrated, over many years of high quality work, a commitment to research in the field of data networking). Previous winners of the ACM SIGCOMM Award are: Paul Baran (1989), David D. Clark and Leonard Kleinrock (1990), Hubert Zimmerman (1991), Alexander G. "Sandy" Fraser (1992), Robert E. Kahn (1993), Paul Green (1994), and David Farber (1995). The winner of the award receives a plaque, honorarium, and is the keynote speaker at the annual ACM SIGCOMM conference (which will be at Stanford University this year).
